<td width="760">Ducati在西班牙南部的Almeria賽道,舉行了中量級全新武器848的全球傳媒試車活動。經過實地試車後,我的意見是,848比<a href="https://www.ibike.com.hk/01_bike_report/local/ducati/07_1098/1098.htm" target="_blank"><font color="#0000ff">1098</font></a>更吸引。雖然848的馬力扭力比1098少,但這反而會是它的優點。因為對騎士來說會有更高的親和力,容錯性較1098更高。而且848比1098輕了整整5公斤,所以車身反應更為敏捷快速。</td></tr>

<td width="760">即使848配備的只是濕式極力子而不是乾式極力子,但848所發出的聲音,仍然充滿Ducati的味道。引擎扣人心絃的呼吸聲和排氣的咆吼聲,都和1098相當接近。848裝配的Pirelli Supercorsa pro輪胎只需數圈熱身便進入狀態,可以更放肆地操作油門。更可喜的是848油門反應相當細緻,加上線性的扭力輸出,在彎道中微調油門不是一件難事,令人很容易掌握尾輪的牽引力。</td></tr>

<td width="760">在賽道上,調較上乘的車架和懸掛系統正向車手派發著很大顆的定心丸。我有了這顆定心丸,在處理彎道時不會輕言縮油。我發現在大部份的低速彎道,選用二波是最佳選擇。而在一些較為高速的彎道,尤其是出直路前的彎道,選用三波較佳。在直路尾我在5波@235km/h開始煞車,848所選配的四頭Brembo鮑,雖然效率不及頂級的mono blocks一體式卡鉗,但表現仍然良好。尤其在高速煞車時手感良好,方便車手按照頭輪的抓地極限來調較制動力,制動時也沒有對車架產生負面影響。</td></tr>

<td width="760">擁有135hp的848,當然很快。論表現不用說當然遠勝以前的749,其實現在的848,相等於數年前V2一公升跑車的威力!但848擁有更佳的重量馬力比例,甚至做出比Ducati 999更佳的比率!難得的是848油門的精確度很高,令人滿懷信心地對車體下一步的反應了然於胸。加上充裕的傾側角度和上佳抓地力的輪胎,令我策騎848時可以盡情壓車落彎。即使以相當急促的步伐來跑圈,人的情緒仍是相當從容,過程是享受多於拼命。</td></tr>

<td width="760">848的V2引擎(Ducati的叫法是L2),轉數上落相當快速。先進精密的合金鑄造技術,令848的引擎可以做得更薄更輕,但不會影響可靠性和耐用性。按照廠方的說法,848的引擎享有和1098相同的耐用性,油冷及水冷套件也是和1098共用。兩車除了共用很多硬件之外,848的座姿也是和<a href="https://www.ibike.com.hk/01_bike_report/local/ducati/07_1098/1098.htm" target="_blank"><font color="#0000ff">1098</font></a>一樣,頭輪負重比例也是51%。Almeria賽道是一個令人相當忙碌的跑道,充滿盲彎甚至乎有off camber<font size="2"><font color="#0000ff">(路面水平向外彎的方向下傾)</font></font>的情況出現。在第一節的15分鐘試車時間中,我忙得雙臂酸軟,但848實在幫了我很大忙。高親和性和高容錯性的操控優點,令我可以忙而不亂地尋找和調整線位。</td></tr>

<td width="760">我對848唯一的批評是波箱:直路尾收車時,拖波的感覺不太順利。窒礙的程度甚至令我分心於制動的操作。轉波桿不是那麼容易地踏下,我往往需要加大踏下的力度,才能成功退檔。除此之外,我對848的表現感到相當滿意。引擎表現俐落、處理S型彎道表現清脆、中段扭力豐盛、傾斜的車身在開油出彎時表現仍然穩定,洋溢著快車的樂趣。以前749帶給車手的優點,848全部做得到,而且表現更遠勝一層樓以上!</td></tr>

一味加大馬力的虛榮,剝奪了車手「盡機器」境界的駕駛樂趣。848的出現,降低了車手要「盡機器」的技術門檻,從而重新喚醒車主對技術修練,才是駕駛電單車的樂趣之源。 市面上有很多比848更大馬力的跑車,但當我嘗過848之後,揀車的認知標準被重新整理!一臺好的電單車,應該鼓勵和幫助車手修練駕駛技術:848絕對是最稱職的一份選擇。

<td width="760">848的靈魂來自一具V形雙氣缸Testastretta引擎,氣缸與鎂合金盤頂設計與大哥1098一致。機器殼比749輕了3.5公斤,全因採用了真空高壓鑄造技術,減低了汽泡形成和金屬氧化作用。引擎哇佬角度設定與1098一樣,生死氣批直徑分別為39.5mm和32mm。 新設計的合金哇佬比舊款更輕,減輕了引擎運作的阻力,間接讓轉數上升得更快,而且耐用度得到提昇。壓縮比高達12:1,能在引擎運作10,000轉時提供134匹馬力輸出,9.8公斤米的扭力則在8,250轉時爆發。

<td width="760">較為意外的是848使用濕式極力子設計,沒有了乾式那「冷冷聲」,帶來的是更安靜的工作環境以及提高耐用性。能夠大幅度降低車重,車架幫了很大的忙。848沿用得吉利經典的Trellis編織式鋼管車架設計,鋼管直徑由以往的28mm增至34mm,但厚度則由2mm降低至1.5mm。在剛性有所加強的同時,更比原有749的車架輕了1.5公斤。單尾擔是848的焦點所在,配合頭尾Showa全功能調較懸掛系統,即時落場飛幾圈完全不是問題! Marchesini Y柱輪圈除了「型」之外,還有「輕」!幫忙減磅之餘,也減低了輪圈對車輛的牽引力,使加速和收車時運作更順暢。848與1098同樣使用Brembo新款Mono bloc對四放射式卡鉗,但因應車重之遞減,頭碟直徑由330變回320mm,還是上乘佳作。
